The Ascent Difference

Drawing on decades of innovation and leadership in the public washroom space, Foundations has combined the latest technology with outstanding value to design the only universal changing table purpose-built for public washrooms: The Ascent.

Even today, most universal changing tables are designed for medical facilities and require both user training and costly installations. We want to lower the barrier for entry and make UCTs accessible for all. Ascent is also proudly engineered, manufactured, and warranty serviced in the USA.

Continuing Education Units

Our AIA-accredited course, "Understanding and Implementing Universal Changing Tables in Architectural Design," is now live! The course reviews the evolution of accessible restrooms and the recent, sudden prominence of height-adjustable universal (or adult) changing tables. It also examines how new changes to both the International Building Code and statewide legislation across the U.S. affect public washroom design.

The course earns 1 LU toward the AIA’s Health, Safety, and Welfare (HSW) requirements. It is also approved by Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI) - satisfying its requirements for LEED, SITES, and WELL General CE hours - and is also accepted by the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), International Interior Designers Association (IIDA), the International Design Continuing Education Council Inc. (IDCEC), and Interior Designers of Canada (IDC).
